Modernization of elementary school including removal of four relocatable buildings and replacement with four new prototypical classroom buildings, four interim housing classrooms, re-roofing, ADA door and hardware upgrades, ADA toilet upgrades, path of travel service upgrades, new painting, new low voltage data and fire alarm systems, main electrical service upgrade and individual panel upgrades, new paving and striping, new ADA ramps and signage, building signage, trash enclosure and other modernization items defined by the project team. $4.1 million.
Chabot Community College District, Tech Department Renovation
Technology center renovation and site improvements. This project is under design to address the growing need by the District to provide current state of the art vocational laboratory classrooms spaces that address their welding, machine tools, computer aided machine tools program, and automotive technologies department needs. The existing tool room that supports all departments will be renovated to increase storage and improve the distribution of parts and tools to each department. The program addresses the need to enclose existing open building areas not presently used during inclement weather, add additional welding department yard areas, support automotive technologies need for additional vehicle storage, as well as improvement in general site circulation. The existing electrical service will be updated to accommodate the increased equipment demands; as well alterations to the data, clock/speaker systems will be renovated to the new layout. $4.4 million
